Miss Maggie Soto

This is my first year teaching at Padre Pio Academy. The thing that I have come to enjoy about teaching is that moment when you’re asking a question and you can see they know the answer. Not because they simply memorized it but because they actually understand the concept. The best is when it happens in religion class. To see their minds understand some of the core truths of our faith is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. Aside from that, their never-ending stories about life and family can keep me entertained and laughing for days. Each student really does have a personality of their own and it has been the greatest part of my job getting to know each and everyone of them.
