Mrs. Cassie Soto
Junior High
Middle school is statistically difficult for students educationally and emotionally. Transitions and life’s hurdles can make this time even more stressful. However, when I was in middle school, my teachers helped me bring a positive mindset which helped me overcome life’s stress as well as come to appreciate school. It was then that I realized teaching is much more than a career; it is a passion.
After high school, it became clear to me that I wanted to be a positive influence and help students create goals for themselves that will last a lifetime. After receiving my Associate’s degree in Social Behavior and Self-Development from Fullerton College, I transferred to California State University, Fullerton where I studied Child and Adolescent Development. I graduated in May of 2021, although a philosophy of mine is that a teacher should never stop learning.
Positivity and prayer are the way to make it through anything, and school is no different. My goal is to continue to spread positivity while helping each student meet their goals and learn to love learning!
